Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania is the creation of Pierre S. du Pont, built in 1931. The Gardens are open year-round, and display flora to celebrate each season of the year. Through Longwood's Continuing Education program, I had a unique opportunity to photograph the Gardens after visiting hours. During four evenings in late Winter and early Spring our class explored the beauty from the golden hour of evening, through the blue hour after sunset, to the quiet rhythms of nighttime in the Garden.
