The annual northward migration of tens of thousands of snow geese and tundra swans is a harbinger of Spring at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. Located on the Lancaster Lebanon county line, the refuge consists of over 6,000 acres of land and a 400-acre lake. Managed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Middle Creek is a vital Atlantic flyway stopover for many species of migrating waterfowl.
