The fertile farmland of Lancaster County is home to many pairs of breeding adult Bald Eagles. This particular nest is well-kept and has been very productive for several years. In 2020 there were three eggs laid and hatched. It is not common for three eaglets to survive and fledge. More common for one or two to make it all the way to first flight. This couple are very good providers indeed.
